Cisco Opportunity Incentive Program is a deal registration framework that provides qualifying channel partners with incentives in the form of incremental discounts. It is designed to reward and protect the presales investment that a partner makes when developing new sales opportunities.
The benefits of the program include:

Provides a financial advantage for partners who bring in new business opportunities

Improves partner profitability

Protects the partner's presales investments and value delivered to customers

Facilitates value engagement by identifying the partner who is first to develop the opportunity, ensuring early engagement between the partner and Cisco

Standardised rules and procedures that reduce partner administration and training time, and decrease the complexity of the sales approval process

Flexibility for direct partners to participate and order directly from Cisco when using the program (on applicable promotions)

All deals must be registered by the Cisco Partner via Partner Deal Registration Tool (PDR) and pre-approved by Cisco prior to ordering.

Get personal with the new TelePresence CTS 500 TelePresence broadens its appeal with the launch of a new model
Cisco recently launched the Cisco TelePresence 500 endpoint in May. The CTS 500 enables individuals to join TelePresence calls, and appear life-size on other endpoints. Called "Personal TelePresence", this new category of TelePresence is designed to meet the needs of office workers in terms of price, space and ergonomics.
