SBCS Update

Cisco is pleased to continue our Partner training series around the Smart Business Communications System (SBCS). This series provides ongoing training updates for Partners that have completed the SBCS Technical Training Sessions. This training series will be delivered by Cisco's product management teams via WebEx

Course Objectives
This session will provide an overview of new versions of Cisco Configuration Assistant (CCA) and Cisco Unity Express, and information on configuring a Key System vs. PBX mode of operation and SIP trunking services.

Cisco's latest WAAS version v4.1 release will deliver the following incremental customer benefits:

  • Ease of deployment: New WAAS GUI which offers intuitive configuration, highly customisable reports, and real-time diagnostic tools. High degree of automation to significantly reduce configuration steps, as well as a Quickstart wizard.
  • Improved remote user productivity and experience: Application-specific acceleration for MAPI, SSL, HTTP, NFS, and Windows Print. Developed and validated with application vendors.
  • Better collaboration via video: Wide-scale, automated delivery of live video. No bandwidth upgrades or complex configurations
